Rhythms and Cycles:
Connecting the Pieces of Your Life
By: Janet L. Hall, The Person/Place Energy Mover
Wouldn't you agree that we all have certain rhythms in our daily
life and that we all go through many of the same stages, cycles,
and 'seasons' of life? We are continuously evolving, as is Mother
Earth.
I feel the start of Spring is one of the most beautiful stages of
evolving. Change is every where you look: Tress budding.
Flowers and plants reappearing. Animals giving birth. Birds
creating new homes. Insects emerging from their cocoons of
hibernation and transformation. Fish spawning. Reptiles shedding
their skins. Rocks and soil being turned over. The season is
changing. Mother Earth is changing and so can you!
Spring symbolizes birth, new beginnings, and starting over. It is
the revitalizing cycle of all on Mother Earth, including you. Spring
can mean a new beginning for you and an end to your clutter and
chaos if you take some action.
I hear your desire to change, I know you want to get out of the
chaotic cycle you are in, and I know you have uncertainty as to
where to start.
You know that if you could just find yourself and organize your
spaces that everything else will come together. Everything in your
life will start to fit - like pieces of a puzzle - the pieces of your life
can become connected again, forming a picture of how you want
your life to be, if you take some action, moving around the
pieces until they all fit snugly together, creating beauty, calm, and
joy.
What pieces of your puzzle are missing? What pieces of your
puzzle are you 'forcing' to fit into your life? What pieces of your
puzzle are continually becoming disconnected?
The pieces of your life that you are disconnected from can be
physical and psychological. If you feel like you are fighting an
uphill battle, could this be caused by chronic fatigue,
Fibromyalgia, depression, bipolar, manic depression,
OCD, ADD, overwhelm, lack of scheduling or a mountain of
other problems?
Reconnecting the pieces can help you restore harmony and
balance in your life.
Reconnecting with the natural world, yourself, and others can
help you see things in your surroundings differently. Causing you
to take action, such as spring cleaning or sorting through your
piles of stuff once and for all.
Let's look at how you can reconnect to nature so you can
reconnect to yourself by becoming aware of your personal
cycles and rhythms of the days, nights, and seasons?
By becoming aware of your own cycles and rhythms you can
begin to work with what you are capable of doing, when you
can, so you can begin to plan your days and nights.
Change the rhythms of your life by taking some time for yourself
and you will find you will have more energy and focus to
accomplish the things you want to do.
Go outside, by yourself. Take at least 15 minutes or more for
yourself each and everyday and choose from one of the
following:
-
Sit outside: on the porch, under a tree, by the water
Sit, listen and observe
-
Go for a walk: around the yard, down the street, in the woods
Walk, listen, and observe
-
Ask yourself: "What will it take to get me to take action, get
help, and get back into my own rhythm of life?"
-
Listen and start taking action and I guarantee the pieces of your
life will eventually start fitting together again.
I'll be waiting to hear from you and I'm here to help
in any way I can.
