Cleaning up after Wilma

By Overhall · Comments (2)

I just got back from Florida where Hurricane Wilma did some great damage. I traveled down the east coast from St. Augustine to Hollywood, FL and saw too many “blue” roofs, which is blue tarp to those that don’t know. One of my “brothers” lost his roof and was lucky that much wasn’t damaged in his home, yet the scene on the streets told a different story for many. Discarded applicances, cabinets, furniture and more ruined from water. Getting back to my office I found this article featured in the Palm Beach Post that I thought might be helpful to some that need advice on how to clean up their inside mess: http://www.palmbeachpost.com/storm/content/storm/getready/after/house.html

Also how to clean up mold at http://www.palmbeachpost.com/storm/content/storm/getready/after/mold.html

What to keep and NOT keep in your kitchen after a hurricane at http://www.palmbeachpost.com/storm/content/storm/getready/after/food_water.html

Hope this helps some, Janet
