The other day I had to stop in the new Benjamin Moore Paint Store in Calvert County for paint samples for a feng shui client. While there I learned of a newer paint BM has developed called Aura (c) Affinity. The paint boost’s a lot of pluses plus “exceedingly eco-friendly” and “very low volatile organic compound (VOC) formulation — under 50 grams per liter”.

Now what I also LOVED about this product was the paint sample fan. Like a card game you turn the fan of samples over and pick ANY three – and when you turn the fan over the three colors are guaranteed to match and/or compliment each other! How cool is that!

A visit to their web site brought more neat things for me: download their color palette’s to Photoshop! And I know what many of you would love is the tool, free of course, for ”choosing a house paint color that complements your home’s architectural roots.  The thumbnail descriptions cover 25 of the most popular architectural styles that have been built in the United States over the last two centuries.”
