Well this morning it happened … the famous words of a child (and some adults) … “I have nothing to wear!” Then the chaos began and so started my morning with my “new” adventure. Although it’s tight, we’ve managed to get all the children’s clothes sorted and organized … not good enough for my beautiful nine-year old granddaughter … she doesn’t like mornings … she can’t decide so off I went to my site OrganizedForSchool.com and ordered her a weekly shoe and clothes organizer. I can’t wait for it to arrive and then every Sunday night, if all goes as planned, we’ll pick out and sort her clothes for the school week. I’m so excited!

With the influx of people living in my home (see post When Your Life Gets Turned Upside Down) I HAD to say the BAD six words I thought I would NEVER say: I Need A “Post It Note”!
I was making frozen OJ and I needed to let the early riser ’s(a.k.a. hubbie, daughter and grandson) know SOMEONE needed to REALLY stir the OJ in the pitcher in the frig.
I NEED A Post It NOTE!!!
Yesterday I was awakened to CHAOS! Yelling and screaming – “get in the shower”, “brush your teeth” “where are your shoes”? and on and on. I do NOT like being woken up out of a good deep sleep like this, do you?
So last night I suggested no yelling and make decisions now about breakfast, clothes, showers, etc. We also have shoes at the bottom and top entrance so we can always find the shoes, something that seems to go “missing” quickly…which reminds me of the one shoe you see in the street or the one sock you find in the washer…how does that happen? Anyway…
So what happens this morning? SCREAMING in the bathroom! It just happens the hot water heater finally decided to “die” while my daughter was taking a shower! That would make me scream too!
Besides that the morning went well and the fun thing is watching the parrots (I don’t know their names) wake up and the kitten (Snickers) say good morning to them and if Brunno was in there too (although this 85 LB. dog is VERY afraid of the kitten) I think I would be living like the “Cat in the Hat” written by Dr. Seuss - Hey it’s the 50th birthday of the “Cat in the Hat” – Now all we need are some gold fish!
Time to wake up now!
