I am that I am!
Today I live in limitless love, light, joy and abundance.
Today I live without fear, anger or worry.
Those words are easy to write and read however the truth is many, including myself at times, can be difficult to do and remember to do.
Living in the now, for the moment and just allowing, and being open to the flow, can be challenging, if we choose it to be, for all of us until we become consciously aware of our thoughts, words and actions at every moment.
Changing just a few words and eliminating those that keep us in fear, worry and poverty takes knowing what words you require to change and practice.
Listed here are my personal words I’m working on eliminating and replacing with power words that will feed and change my life and my world.
TRY: this word implies struggle. When it comes down to it we either can or can’t (however can’t and cannot implies that we don’t have the capacity to do a task yet this shouldn’t stop me from learning how to do the task…more on that in a second). Try is a word used by many of us. “I’ll try to make it over.” “I’ll try to get organized.” I’ll try to exercise.” And on and on we go. How does one try to do something? How does one attempt to do something? You either do or don’t, or can or won’t.
Try is really indecision and once you make up your mind and choose to be honest with yourself and others, switch the word try to either you can or can’t, or will or won’t.
CAN’T: this word as mentioned above prevents us from learning. If you don’t want to do something instead of saying “I can’t do it.” say “I won’t do it.” Instead of saying “I can’t play the piano.” say “I can’t play the piano right now.”
NEED: When we use the word need we are living in a world of scarcity and limitlessness. When we speak the word need in a sentence such as “I need $1000 a month to pay the bills” we are telling the Universe we are living in lack and scarcity and this is all we ‘need’ to ‘make it’ so we will always be in need/lack of this thing or that. We are actually pushing away money (or whatever it is we say we need) and not open to the flow and allowing the abundance to come to us. When we change the word need to require or I am open to receiving we are ordering up or calling for the Universe to deliver what we want or allowing the flow of what is to come. This or something better … I always like to add to the end of what I’m requiring or asking for.
BUT: When we use the word but then any words we speak or write after the word but becomes an excuse. Switch the word but with however and see how that sounds.. However can indicate a different point of view or something else that might happen, such as however if … honesty instead of an excuse.
FEAR: When you use the word fear or are living in fear we are having anxiety, concern and apprehension of things that ‘might’ happen, whether real or not. We begin to create our lives out of fear and are living in the future instead of the now and the moment. When we change the word fear to the word courage we are telling the Universe we are brave and living from our heart.
HAVE TO: When we use this phrase we are saying we don’t have a choice in the matter. Everyone has a choice. When we say “I have to do this.” we are telling the person we have no power over our life. When we switch the word have to with the words choice or choose to we begin to gain our power back and puts us in the drivers seat so to speak.
When we begin to live in the now, the I am, know that we deserve, and are grateful for what we have then we truly begin to change our lives and our world.
Here is a pretty famous quote presumably from a man called Frank Outlaw:
“Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”
I’d love to hear what words you are working on changing and how it’s changed your life.
With the help of my friends Paula (www.artofabundance.com), Nisa (www.nisanature.com) and Beverly (www.EarthLightPromotions.net) I’ve begun to change my words and I hope I’ve helped you to begin your journey of changing your life and your world.
Weeding Out the Weeds in Our Lives
By: Janet L. Hall
As I was weeding the pathway to my front door I started to reflect on the past months events in my life and two of my clients.
I started laughing as I realized we three had a common bond in July … more about them in a minute.
In my working spaces I weeded out books, tapes and CD’s that no longer served me. I weeded through my paper files, computer files, and emails, purging, and deleting what was no longer needed. I transferred all my pictures and videos off my main computer onto an external terabyte hard drive.
Then I started weeding out the bathroom and kitchen drawers and shelves.
With a feeling of “new ground” and more space in my office and home I looked to my yard – more spaces to weed; the pathway, the flower beds, the vegetable garden, and even some potted plants!
To me pulling weeds is uplifting, as well as calming, although I don’t want to do it everyday. Pulling weeds also gives me time to think, day dream, and even plan. It’s my alone time with my thoughts and nature.
Okay so back to the two clients …
One client I’m in the process of organizing and Feng Shuing her whole house, room-by-room; weeding, purging, recycling, dumping, donating, selling and deleting.
I looked to her yard and mentioned she really needed to have her pool area and entrance way weeded and mulched so I called in my reinforcements for yard help.
Within four days her entrance way and pool area were transformed into beauty.
Inside, her home was feeling more like a home. The children were thrilled when they saw the changes we had made: a living room that was now “really” a living room. A space where they could relax together and invite their friends over for a movie or a dip in the pool.
A formal dining room turned into a gathering space where the client can now entertain and entertain she has.
She called the other day to tell me how everyone that visits loves the new look and feel of the place.
My second client, well I’ve been weeding out her home over the past year and a half … two dumpsters and 669 lbs. of paper … yes I weighed the bags of paper!
Finally finished she too was ready to tackle the outside; overgrown and neglected flower beds. Out with the weeds!
And as a bonus, she and her husband have both lost weight, just like I have!
All that weeding can change your life. All that weeding will change the energies of your spaces.
Sure it might be emotional, it might be back breaking, it surely will take some time, however when all is said and done your life will finally be weed free.
What weeds do you need to tend to?

What kind of an environment are you trying to produce or experience: one that is exciting, Yang, or one that is calming, Yin? Couples should be aware that the bedroom should be more Yin – somewhat dark and quiet – to ensure not only a blissful rest, but also a safe, loving, and honored space in which they can be their selves.
The energy of your bedroom or space is evoked through what you see, hear, smell, feel, and how you move through the space. Some refer to this energy as Chi, which is what you experience when you are in a space.
Every space has it’s own unique sight (views, colors, shapes), sound (noise, movement), smell (odor), and feel (texture of fabrics). Energy – it’s all around us!
To help ensure calm and harmony, couples need to honor each other’s individuality by providing space in their bedroom that allow each person’s personal needs to be obtained. However, bringing in the “office,” computer, exercise equipment, or television can cause your bedroom to have too much Yang, too much energy and over stimulation, which can cause restlessness and disharmony. Placing pictures of people that bring bad memories, or any unsettling pictures, such as a boat being tossed about on wild seas are not desirable items for your place of refuge either.
If you are having difficulty sleeping your bedroom might be too Yang. Maybe your sex drive is out of gas, which could be caused by an overabundance of Yin or using incorrect shapes, colors, odors, or textures in your bedroom.
Soft, cushy bedding and fabrics can help create a Yin bedroom that will be harmonious, loving, and supportive. Speaking of supportive, make sure your bed has a headboard that you can comfortably rest against. A supportive headboard relates to support in your relationships.
Introducing muted mid tone colors (Benjamin Moore Paints Pink Eraser arouses sexual thoughts), cool temperatures (leave a window cracked or turn down the air temperature), lavender scent, which is sleep inducing, or Jasmine that speaks of harmony and desire will also help you obtain a more Yin space.
When looking around your bedroom make sure what you are seeing promotes the quality and feeling of the life you are “dreaming” of. Play around with colors, smells, shapes, and textures until the desired result is achieved.
Start by removing all clutter, unused items, or items that cause unhappiness, bad memories, or that agitate you!
Using your intuition or gut feeling, add, move, or remove things in your space until you “feel” what you are trying to achieve in your space. And to create intrigue and mystery for a special night throw on some black satin sheets!
